Scheduled Maintenance
What maintenance is required on which unit, when is it next due, and has work been raised for it? — plans defined once per maintenance group (and SMCS code), a live item per unit, next-due dates from meters, the calendar, fixed dates and component life, service tiers (a larger service covers the lesser ones), and a Work template raised as an order when an item enters its lead window.
Its central question:
TRUCK-09's 500 h service is about four days of hauling away: has Work been asked for the order, from which template, and when it is done, when is the next one?
It is a member of the Work & Supply network. It decides when; Work Management decides how (the template, which also carries the work type) and does it. Lifecycle supplies the meters and the life forecast, the Asset Register the unit's maintenance group, Condition Monitoring the findings that become one-off items.
